Tablify

Convert an image of a table to Excel

You have a photo of a printed table, a screenshot of a report, or a picture someone sent you. Tablify reads the rows and columns in the image and gives you a spreadsheet you can edit in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, so you do not have to retype it.

It accepts JPG, PNG and WebP images, and PDFs too.

How it works

  1. Upload the image. A straight, sharp picture with the whole table in view gives the best result.
  2. Check the table. Cells the reader was not sure about are highlighted. Click a cell to correct it, or add and delete rows.
  3. Download the result as .xlsx or .csv.

Your image is not stored. It is read in memory to extract the table and is not kept on our side. It is sent to an AI model only to read the table. You do not need an account.

Photos taken at an angle, in shadow or with glare are harder to read. If a result looks off, retake the picture closer to straight on and try again. The highlighted cells show where to look.
