Tablify

Convert a price list or menu to Excel

Suppliers send price lists as PDFs, and shops and restaurants print them. To sort, compare or update the prices you need them in a spreadsheet. Tablify reads the list, with its names, codes, sizes and prices, and gives you one row per item.

It works on PDF price lists, catalogue pages, scanned sheets, and photos or screenshots of a printed list or a menu.

How it works

  1. Upload the price list. A list of several pages is read page by page and joined into one table.
  2. Check the table. Cells the reader was not sure about are highlighted. Click a cell to correct it, or add and delete rows.
  3. Download the result as .xlsx or .csv. Prices that are plain numbers arrive as numbers, so you can sort and add them straight away.

Your file is not stored. It is read in memory to extract the table and is not kept on our side. It is sent to an AI model only to read the table. You do not need an account.

Tablify reads the main table on each page. A list laid out in several columns on one page, or with decorative fonts, is worth checking in the preview before you download.

FAQ

Does it work on a restaurant menu?

It works best when the menu is laid out as a list or table with items and prices. A loose layout with pictures and text in many places is harder to read.

Will the prices be numbers?

Plain numbers are written as numbers in the .xlsx file, with trailing zeros such as 4.50 kept. Check currency symbols and thousands separators in the preview.

Can I fix a mistake before I download?

Yes. The preview is editable, and uncertain cells are highlighted.
