Convert a PDF to Excel, even a scanned one
Tablify reads the tables in a PDF and gives you a spreadsheet you can open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. It works on PDFs that were exported from software and on PDFs that are only a picture of a page, such as a scan or a phone photo saved as PDF.
How it works
- Upload your PDF. Pages are read one after another and joined into a single table.
- Check the table. Cells the reader was not sure about are highlighted. Click any cell to correct it, or add and delete rows.
- Download the result as .xlsx or .csv.
Your file is not stored. It is read in memory to extract the table and is not kept on our side. The page is sent to an AI model only to read the table. You do not need an account.
Tablify finds the main table on each page. Pages with several separate tables, or with very small print, are worth a quick look in the preview before you download.
FAQ
Does it work on a scanned PDF?
Yes. The page is read as an image, so a scan or a photo saved as PDF works the same way as a PDF exported from a program.
What happens to a table that runs over several pages?
The pages are joined into one table, and a header row that repeats on every page is kept once.
Can I check the result before I download?
Yes. You see an editable preview first, with uncertain cells highlighted.
